Let Jesus reign supreme in our lives.

There seems to be an increasing hunger and craving for material possessions.  People want more. More pay, more pleasure, more entertainment, more stimulating diversions - these are symptoms of our spiritual poverty.

And Christian workers, like pastors, my fellow Salvation Army officers are not exempted from such temptations. We need to be always be on our guard. We can easily fall into Satan's trap.

We need to keep our relationship with God right and remember His injunction to us all,  "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." Matt. 6: 33

In very simple terms, the Kingdom of God is the rule of God in our lives. When we allow our Lord to take full control and reign supreme in our hearts then we have the Kingdom of God.

This is Saturday evening and once again I pray for all  who will be preaching and teaching God's word to others.

For me the day will begin with teaching the word of God to our Adult Bible class.
