Staff of Peacehaven Nursing Home left in two vans for Singapore Central Corps to attend a special 'Celebration' meeting. This week was the celebration of the official reopening of Territorial Headquarters after extensive renovations.
The land where THQ stands was leased to the Army for 30 years and the Government has extended the lease for another 30 years.
Commissioner Gillian Downer, the International Secretary of SPEA and Commissioner Janice Donaldson, Zonal President of Women's Ministries were on an official visit to the territory.
My wife and I left with Madam Low Mui Lang in her car for the meeting. We were asked to sit on the second row in the meeting.
Then midway through the meeting, my wife and I were called to the platform and to our very big surprise, I was conferred the "Order of the Founder" OF in short.
Frankly my wife and I have not done anything outstanding, we only carried our duty as we think right to the glory of God.
