Disciple and Discipline.

"I believe that a disciplined life is a happy life, especially if our motivation is right - if it is for God's sake." Addison Leitch.

Notice the words disciple and discipline come from the Latin word meaning 'to learn.' Jesus called twelve disciples and during the three years on earth, they were with Him, He taught them many lessons. A disciple is under authority. He submits himself to the authority to his mentor, coach or leader. In an orchestra each musician has to submit to the conductor. There is the score he has to follow. There is the conductor to whom he needs to obey.  Each player cannot do his or her own thing.

Discipline for the Christian is wholehearted submission to the authority to our Lord Jesus Christ. Let us each day seek to do His will. The will of God - nothing more, nothing less, nothing else - a good motto to follow.

Doing the will of God. The best thing I know in this world below is doing the will of God.
