God is faithful

One of the most prized attributes is 'the faithfulness of a friend.' And we have many we can put in this category. We thank God for these faithful friends we can turn to at any time.

Sometimes we may be going through a period of anxiety and how good it is when someone turns up and we can share freely our problems. Here is a verse we have three thoughts to ponder.

"Know therefore that the Lord your God; he is the faithful God..." Deut. 7: 9

First He is the Lord our God.
Second He is God the Almighty.
Third, He is faithful.

My favourite hymn "Great is Thy faithfulness"

“Great is Thy faithfulness,” O God my Father,
There is no shadow of turning with Thee;
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not
As Thou hast been Thou forever wilt be.

• “Great is Thy faithfulness!” “Great is Thy faithfulness!“
    Morning by morning new mercies I see;
  All I have needed Thy hand hath provided—
      “Great is Thy faithfulness,” Lord, unto me!

Summer and winter, and springtime and harvest,
Sun, moon and stars in their courses above,

To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.

Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth,
Thy own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
