What a great time we had as a group of us prayed together. We felt the powerful presence of God Almighty in our midst as we gave thanks to Him for answered prayers. We brought our petitions to Him in faith that our prayers asked in His name will be answered. I am reminded of the beautiful chorus
Prayer gently lifts me to highest heaven,
From Earth's confusion to Jesus' breast;
My sin and weakness, my doubt and sorrow,
Are lost for ever in sweetest rest.
Never be too busy to pray.
Our Lord's promise to His children. "You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it." John 14: 14
