He came into our world.

He didn't come to Jupiter,
He didn't come to Mars,
He didn't come to sun or moon
Or any of the stars,
Of all the vast created host
From his own hand unfurled
By Jesus Christ, His only Son,
He came into our world.

He came because He wanted most
To take away sin's blight:
To frustrate every devilish scheme
And put our wrong world right.
His own volition brought Him from
His throne with splendour pearled.
But only if invited will
