The tallest Moon Cake Festival Lantern in Singapore, a new record at 5 metres (more than 16 ft.) tall built by residents with dementia, ITE students and other volunteers. This two storey lantern was made with 10,240 drinking straws, plus lights.
It was put on Singapore Records.
We were privileged to be present for this special occasion part of The Salvation Army Peacehaven Nursing Home celebration of Moon Cake Lantern Festival.
