Good relationship

Every Thursday morning my wife and I join our friends at Territorial Headquarters of The Salvation Army to have prayers. It lasts for one hour. We are part of the global prayer chain.

We come home and I spend time preparing for our cell meeting on Friday.

At our Friday Cell group meeting we usually begin with coffee or tea, biscuits or whatever the members bring to share. Then we sing a song or hymn and pray. This is followed by the lesson for the day. At the moment we are studying the Book of Job.

We have good fellowship together. Most of us are retirees, some work in shifts. Everyone is welcome. Some attend regularly, others when they are free.

Here are some thoughts of relationships.

A good relationship is when someone accepts your past, supports your present and encourages your future. - Unknown

A great relationship is about two things. First, appreciating the similarities, and second, respecting the differences. - Unknown

Most important of all;  in our group we all have this relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Meet together in the name of Jesus. He is your prophet, your shepherd, your bishop, your priest, in the midst of you, to open you, to sanctify you and to feed you with life, and to quicken you with life.
