Tinsel
The superficial often blinds my eyes
And I'm entranced until, with sad surprise
I see the tawdry stuff is only tin
And wonder why I was so taken in!
Sharpen my vision, sanctify my sight,
And help me get my valuations right.
We all need to pray this prayer too.
