In Our New Home

My wife and I are now living on Level 4 of Peacehaven Nursing Home. We are still in the midst of sorting out our personal belongings.

I had two falls within three weeks. I had the first fall on the first day of the Officers' Retreat at Pulau Springs and had to be rushed by ambulance to Johor Baru Hospital for treatment. Had to have four stitches on my upper lip. I mentioned this incident in an earlier blog.

I had my second fall three weeks later in our own bathroom and had to be rushed to National University Hospital. I had five stitches on my forehead.

Today I have to use a walking stick to help me get around. But we are surrounded by beautiful people - staff, nurses, caregivers and therapists of this Nursing Home. God has been good  to us. We have been abundantly blessed.

Moving to Changi

At the moment we are busy packing for the move to Changi on 16th December 2014. Hence I have not been blogging. We shall live on the 4th Floor, above the Peacehaven Nursing Home. We shall be near our daughter, a resident of the Nursing Home. She resides on Level 2 so we will be able to visit her everyday.

We farewell from William Booth Corps (church) on 14th December. We shall be worshipping with our many friends at Changi Corps (church) from the 21st.

We believe this is God's timing for us.
